May 2012. CPR took 10 dogs following a large scale animal hoarding case in Sarasota County. We received nine small poodle / poodle mixes and one Golden Doodle from the more than 300 dogs that were seized by the sheriff's deputies and animal services on May 4th found in a Venice home. The dogs were living in very small cages with wire floors and many had matted fur, hookworms and heartworms.
